Where to find pure quartz?

I've gotten to a point where I've unlocked good chunk of high tec structures and items but can't make them because they require circuit boards and to be able to make them, I need pure quartz.

Are they like in high level dungeons or something? I haven't found any in the dungeons I've been so far. I explored the volcano area a bit and didn't find any there (so far) nor in the cold area far to the north.

i also get tons within the souther fire region from farming pals ..
but farming is more reliable :)
