Same. Played 3 hours everything was fine. The newstart and voila Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000400000008

I think the link you provided mate is broken. Do you know if the issue is on their end? I'd rather wait for some sort of patch, rather than messing around with files, I've no knowledge of.

Hello

I fixed my game. AMD build. I turned off everything in Adrenalin the software that comes with AMD products. I mean every software enhancement in that program for this game. I dont know what one cause this issue maybe HYPR-RX or Smart Access memory ect.

Give it a try if NVidia has the same. I think its because the game isnt optimised yet for software side of the hardware.

I don't know if this will solve your issues, but I had the same errors for the last days, no matter the update version and I just found a workaround today.

Basically I always get the same set of error messages when launching the game, first one would be : "Failed to EOS login. Error: ULoginEOSAsyncFunction::Activate() failed"
... if I click on "ok" here, the game will crash after about 10 seconds. No matter if still in the Menu or already loading my game.

If however I do not click "ok", the error will change into: "Failed EOS login. Error: Timeout" and when I click "ok" then, the game will run stable.

Again I don't know if this will help, but having tried all sorts of things the last days, I'd prefer to share this one with you in case it can also help others...
