human pals will repair your base for you

i guess you can call it a bonus hidden use for them, since their work stats are god awful.

if you have repair tools in your base, your human pal will go grab them and fix up anything below max durability.

goes well with having a base merchant, as he also becomes a base repairman.
nice for cleaning up after a raid. repair tools are dirt cheap so keep a few hundred on hand and have a merchant roaming around and you never have to worry about base durability.

unless something gets destroyed like in seconds, then its gone...but if it survives the raid you dont have to manually fix it.

I wonder how long human Pal'ification is going to remain as a "feature." It is funny, in a dark, twisted, and deranged way, but it's already been abused by people playing co-op with friends, at first out of curiosity and then for the lulz.

Transforming your friends' characters into Pals by accident (or on purpose), can cause some big issues if/when the team gets raided. Especially when it happens during the attack.

Just an FYI, other Pals will use repair kits, too, such as Lifmunk.
Pretty sure it's any Pal with the Handiwork trait.

it's a bit weird, i never seen my Pals repair anything at handiwork lvl 1, however humans did, but when i added one pal with handiwork lvl 2 for my ammo crafting, noticed that guy did the fixy uppy

repair tool is pointless and expensive
like when you repair a gate it required 6 tools at least for full hp repair meanwhile dismantle & rebuild does way better job, faster & more convenient.
