As long as you know 2 males can't have offspring you are ok.
condense the parents?

unzips
Breeding gets you pals you won't be able to get normally and the parents can pass on their traits. Their stats as far as I can tell aren't passed on.
I've heard that it only counts their base stats which would exclude condensing; however, I don't know if that's 100% been proven. It would make sense if it doesn't as you could infinitely scale stats to the cap by endless breeding if they did carry over.
no you do not pass on condensing, only traits. stats are based on pal type, level, and a hidden random number 1-100 that influences how many stats are gained per level.
Only the traits pass on, stats do not.
thank you saves me lots of effort breeding then
Feels very random.

I have 2 Jetragons that both have 4 traits. Offspring frequently have 1 2 or even 3 traits most of the time not matching a parent. Great condensation fodder though.

Also. They both died when I was away from my base. I guess they got too aggressive performing their duties...
I have a different question

let's say I have the big lucky lamball and another big lucky pal and breed them, will they also come out as lucky?
The "Lucky" trait CAN be passed on through breeding, but the offspring will not have the extra size or the lucky symbol on their pal icon.

You can have a Lucky come out of just one parent being Lucky. You can also not get Lucky out of two parents with Lucky.

Trait inheritance is all subject to minor RNG through mutations/loss/gain, so it's a numbers game.

Luckies have more base stats. But I doubt the offspring would be effected by that right?

Neither Luckies or Alphas have better base stats - Lucky simply gives +15% Attack and +15% Work Speed.

Every single lucky I've caught have had higher stats than all my non-luckies at the same level. Obviously stats vary on every Pal, but to me that trend seemed to be more than a coincidence.

I've been trying to breed Rayhound and Kitsune for speed, managed to get parent with Swift, Nible and Runner and bred it with one that had only Lucky. From the 20 eggs I hatched, only 2 individuals succeeded inheriting all 4 traits. I repeated the same process on rayhound and had similar success.

So its more than minor RNG.
