I tried making my way out to the GIANT tree in the north west.
HOW FOOLISH A MOVE!!

Its on the map, but hidden behind a red wall- and as i moved off the red wall- i was SLUNG to the bottom of the world under the water! taking an impressive near 5000 falling damage, and learning that grass really does grow underwater...

So- adventurers and tamers alike- don't try to go to the big tree. or else.

You can still get in with some tricks. My base is beneath it on my favorite community server.

You can get in textures and behind walls using ball trick - throw pal to spawn behind the obstacle and start riding, teleporting you through.

For some reason the second i stopped rubbing my serpents nipples against the wall- it shot me to the bottom of the world under the water. killing me and my pet instantly.. So i didnt get a chance to do that sadly lol

You can glitch yourself and your pals anywhere with a little effort.

This glitch works because the landmass from the tree continues stretching into the ocean. It's actually very unique as a lot of the islands cut off into straight abyss. The only other place I'm aware you can properly glitch into water is the river at the bottom of newbie hill. It won't teleport you out once you demount like other locations.

The games also really good at returning the player to somewhere safe. I've been killed multiple times by the ocean and gently respawned with all my items (Set to drop everything on the server).

You can easily get on the other side of the red wall by using salamence. Just fly reeeeeeeaaaaaaally high and youll eventually be able to go over the red wall. Theres still another completely invisible wall a bit further though, that, as far as I know, cant be breached.

Long story short, you can go over the red wall but you cant reach the tree, so doing so is pointless, unless youre like me and want to discover the map as much as possible.

I'm back with more exploits because it's so much easier

At the same time as you mount your pal (flying/ground), desummon it.

If you succeed, your pal will disappear and you will be sitting down.

Count to 20...

Demount and you will be over the wall.

You can set up a base in the grasslands. Aside from being perfectly flat and ideal for farming, this base is so far away and unexpected, it's really great for hiding from hackers on official. ;P and you're not raided by NPC's either.

You can also get over the 'white barrier' - count to 20 again. This one is pointless as your pals have 0 path-finding capability no matter what you do.

I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took grass a few thousand meters underwater to the knee!

Can't blame anyone for trying really. Massive tree you can see at many points on the map, simply out on a small island where there's radiant blue light flowing through it, yet tucked so far away you'd need to be in the endgame to approach it.

It's practically begging to be explored, but alas. Likely future content.
