My point wasn't no content, it's lack of engagement.
Yes, that would explain the "early access" bit. I understand that, and acknowledged it. I just really hope they make good on the development cycle instead of being content with a large paycheck because either would be understandable with the latter being upsetting.
This is exactly why I will add this game to my wishlist and wait until it is a finished product. Looks great, but I don't trust Early Access. You are buying the game as-is with no guarantee of a single byte of added progress from the point you hit purchase. Not worth the "risk".
Luckily for you, Steam has millions upon millions of other options to choose from. No need to complain here, go find yourself a product you'll enjoy.

Have a great evening, mate.
I'll be more than happy with more content to come out, but I feel I have plenty of stuff to accomplish still.
Now mind you, I'm playing this completely blind - no wikis that give me the guidance on the best breeding combinations, no videos of "OP farming spots", no maps of the totems to speed up boosting capture power.
Just a few things I still want to do:
There is just plenty of stuff for me to complete. Now if you find it a slag to grind, not sure what to say.
Even though I enjoy Palworld for what it is at the moment and would even argue that it's worth it's current price point, I can't disagree with you if you're going into this with the intent that they'll make good on development. As I said above, they could very well conclude that they've made their money (likely far more than they dreamed) and ship it as is. As you pointed out, nothing says they can't. Hopefully not.
That's totally fair. I'm glad you're enjoying it!
I would agree. I think it'll lose steam over the next few weeks and you'll always have die hards (with any game). Honestly impressed with people who sink 1000s of hours into games I couldn't imagine putting more than 50-100 in.
