[Suggestion] Make pals evolve :D
I was flying through the Sand Dunes desert trying to get my 10 Tocotocos (my paldeck told me they lived there) and noticed they were too strong compared to the ones who live North East of Investigator's Fork to the point I'd have to capture them with a very strong pal sphere.

This blew my mind and made me think that it would be cool if we had an evolution feature. I mean many pals look like they're an evolution from each other, here are a few examples: Pengullet > Penking, Jolthog > Sparkit > Rayhound > Orsek, Foxparks > Rooby > Pyrin?

Wouldn't it be much better if once a pal naturally achieved a certain level they evolved into something new? By doing this each reagion could have cartain pals with higher levels instead of making a small regular level 5 pal suddenly reach level 40 just because you travelled to another place.

That's a good idea, I thought about that too, plus this content idea was never seen anywhere else ;)

A game can't stop bringing features just because children are mad. I've seen the videos, Pals DO NOT look like Pokemons.

Also evolving works differently in Pokemon, they have to feed the pokemon with stuff until the game gives the option to evolve, I'm talking about evolving after reaching a certain level, it's entirely different.

I hope it gets implemented eventually, would be nice.

?? you understand pokemon evolve not only on feeding a couple of them items but almost all are based on level....
Can "evolve after a certain level" feature be owned by only 1 company?

if you want to play pokemon bro then why don't you. turning this game into pokemon won't help the developers.
Well as I said, I have a suggestion to the devs, it's up to them to decide to do it or not.

I personally like the lack of evolution personally. Makes it more its own thing. Plus there are some pals that are within the same species of a pal but different for one reason or another, I.E The fat king llama instead of the regular small ones.

make pokefans explode with rage :p

The advantage of not having evolution is that the pal you like isn't replaced with a design you don't like just for the same of strength.

Example. I love Magnemite, but strongly dislike any design that just x3. Like magneton or digtrio.
Later when magnazone was a thing it helped. But in palworld if I find a design I like, I can focus on getting the passive and stats to make them a force, with our needing to ruin it with an evolution.

North of the anubis statue there are tocotoco often fighting syndicate thugs. I've captured my ten using green and blue spheres. I think they were around 13-17 in level?

I actually thought this was already a feature of the game, sadly after so much time I came to realize it was not implemented which is bad on the devs part.

Nah, in pokemon you evolve pokemon by leveling them up a vast majority of the time. There are exceptions, such as trade evolutions or weird stuff like flipping ur 3ds upside down for Inkay.

But in terms of should evolutions be added to palworld, I think that as long as every pal is still obtainable on the wild, I'd be okay with it. Something I hate about pokemon is having to grind a pokemon to a certain level just to get its evolution to fill the dex.

I like how Palworld doesn't have evolutions, but if they add it the right way, it would be fine.

(Sorry if the response came off aggressive- was not my intention)

A new way to make the Pals evolve that would be diferent from pokemon would be to have them reach a certain rank OR have a 'kill count' so that they evolve based on how many other pals they themselves killed (final blow). This makes it unattached to levels or elemental stones.
melonLord 7/ago./2024 às 13:31
Nah. Just cause pokemon, digimon, etc. have that feature doesnt mean this game should. I dont see anything that it would actually add gameplay-wise.

Also, this isnt true. Most pokemon that evolve do so after a certain level. Thats how all the starter pokemon work, for instance.
