me and my friends 100% have refered to 0 of them as pals they are 100% look at this new pokemon! rofl
what about coromon? its more like pokemon than palworld is and they didn't do anything about it and they can't. as long as they don't use any mons that they made or use any of there assets they are safe. look at vampire survivors they have like 100 copy cat games with the exact same systems. also pals don't evolve pokemon, coromon and digimon do. also they don't own the rights to capturing things in balls just like how darksouls don't own there mechanics there are like 10+ games that have the exact controls, mechanics and inventory as darksouls even with the exact same item usage/equipping system and hud display and they didn't get sued (im not counting blood born or demon souls here as they are the same team as far as i know) plus palworld is more like ark than pokemon, ark also has cryo pods that work like pokeballs the only thing is palworld cut out that lame taming system and other BS that ark has. like come on its crafting system is EXACTLY the same as arks lol. pokemon/nintendo are just sore because they have one of the best IPs ever and someone found a way to use it better than they did. pokemon/nintendo should have made this style of online game years ago when fans was asking for a open world pokemon game with other players in it but instead they just make they same 3 games for 20 some years lol
And no, it's not. Try to create a new creature collecting game and call your monsters Pikachus as a umbrella term. You will not be fine. Same goes for Palmon. Digimon is too large and well known in Japan for this idea of yours to take off.
Oh wait...
