"Pokemon with guns" is a bit of a stretch

There's only several guns in the game and only a handful of pals get guns they can use.
While yea, I get that there are guns and there are Pokemon like creatures, it's far from being the main feature to call it that.
You can't just mass produce guns and hand them to your pals and the shooting doesn't go on as much as the trailers make you think. There's a lot of scripted shots in it.
The Lifmunks "assembly line" is an example of how it could be a little misleading. You don't exactly get a whole assembly line and mass produce weapons for anything. In fact, the assembly lines are just workbenches with a different model and an animation that makes it appear as if tons of items are being run down the belt.

You know, I saw this a few days back and even if he's joking (because sometimes its hard to tell if he likes a game or not), he's right.

And the worst part is, by the time you get any meaningful guns, you've pretty much done and seen all the game has to offer.

People call Terraria "2D Minecraft". If there's one thing the gaming community loves to do, it's distill a game down to its most prominent two features and then equate it to a different game.

To me this is just ark with pokemon.

Could be better, but its early access and I always wanted a ark game with pokemon.
