server settings

ok i made my own dedicated server and found the setting part but none of the changes i made work. like the drop on death, i changed that from All to None, and i still drop all. i have tried every way to spell it (None, none and NONE). i tried to change how long it takes for eggs to hatch and that dosent work too (4 hours for a basic egg is to long). and yes i did save changes before i closed it. anyone know my issue and how to fix it? oh and yea i did delete the server, reinstalled it and tried again and it still doesnt work.

Please check out my guide regarding this. You need to change the settings under Pal\Saved\Config\WindowsServer and then PalWorldSettings.ini

the problem im having is any changes i make dont apply. running it is ok but any values i change dont work.

There are two Palworldsettings.ini files, one is called "DefaultPalworldsettings.ini" and is early on in the file set, the other does not have "Default" in it's name and is deeper in the save file settings for the specific world/server. Chances are you are probably changing values in the default backup file and not the actual world settings file.

sorry but you lose me at step two. " Click on File > Save as and make sure you fail the file with the file name start.bat and that you save is as type All Files. " what is fail the file and then then save what as all files?

You should probably stick to community servers if you are struggling this much.
