Can you get legendary schematics via breeding?

So for this discussion i'd like to take Jetragon as an example. Jetragon drops a legendary rocket schematic right? So if we breed Jetragons and make tons of em, then butcher the offsprings will they have a chance to drop legendary schematics?

You do get resources drop when you BUTCHER the baby

No you cannot. All Pals have two drop pools, a normal pool and a BOSS pool. The schematic drops off its Boss pool.

Butcher? Should be possible. At first i thought you meant from hatch. But yes i hear (not fact) someone got legendary handgun from butchering Alpha Beakon

In that case I guess the best way is catch and butcher for two chances.

Pretty much. And the chance is 3% of dropping the recipe so 1 in 33 will drop it. It's a grind but not a hellish one. I got mine in about a week of casually checking back every hour.
