Note: There are two config files, one is called "Default Config" and won't actually change any settings in game. It's a backup file. The other does NOT have "Default" in it's name fo the .ini file. Also, I suggest not making the egg hatch 0.0. 0.5 is fine. Setting anything to 0.0 often completely disables the timer and can glitch things too much. So go for a 1.0 or a 0.5 setting.

So we edited the one without Default in the name but nothing has changed. We also fixed the spacing as I was informed that was a issues for this as well. None of this worked though, so I'm unsure of what to do next. Sorry for a late reply, I just got on.

Not trying to be a wise guy. But, you didn't use the enter key in the config file did you? the config won't work if you did. set the egg timer to 2.000000 as that is not too long to wait imho.

reported for code spam. Put inside
tags or I'll report again.

Don't set the egg timer to zero, that just freezes the timer. It'll work for a little while and then glitch. Set it to 1 or 0.1 if you really want, but don't use zero.

Have you read the comment at the top of the file?

Just to ask the obvious, are you restarting the server after config changes?

Yes, and we have the server offline as well while making the changes

1. Stop the Server
2. create a file under Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer (or WindowsServer) named "PalWorldSettings.ini" copy and paste the contents from this site: https://pastebin.com/raw/tdBTYrhz
3. Dont do line breaks or anything like that and just change the numbers or strings at the setting you want to change (like public ip, server password or hatching time)
4. start server

My first mistake was that i did not remove the comments from the template or named the file wrong.

If you are changing the Hatching Time from 72.000000 to like 10.000000 you must take out the egg and replace it after this the remaining time will decrease

tested today and worked maybe it helps you
