Pals Too Big
Does anyone else feel this way? Like certain Pals just feel too big? Especially when you're in base and they work for you, you got all these oversized Pals in your base.

Would be nice if all Pals can be made smaller, only slightly bigger than their 1st Evolution.

I don't know how to put it, but they certainly feel out of place and too big. I feel like they should remain Small to Medium .... Not overly sized humangous

I think the best option for this is perhaps a slider in the Menu somewhere for if you want smaller pals, normal pals or bigger pals.

That way we can all adjust the way we want to for our needs.
This would be an issue though in the future. What if you have an AOE that shoots horizontal and I go in first with one of my big Pals and others follow behind me. If you could shrink or make Pals smaller/bigger, it could give advantages/disadvantages. If guess if you're playing solo it's different, but still. I don't think they are focused on single player options over other things.

Well what I think could be done and if they can do it, regardless of size any deployed in base should have their size restricted like the levels are too.. Only when use out of base can they be the size they are ment to be.

I've noticed there being a pathing issue for some pals. I built my rock, and tree farming nodes on a wooden platform that required stairs to reach. So at first I tried big pals for cutting down the trees, but they would never go up the stairs to farm the node, and yes I did make it big enough for them to go up the stairs, but they just wouldn't. So instead i swapped to tanzee the little green monkey pal, which has better pathing for some reason. I never had a issue with the small pals going up the stairs, or a second floor. I think the big pals just have bad AI,and pathing. Small pals for base stuff, big pals for combat it seems. Too bad there isn't many L4 small pals :\

Hey, after 40 hours of the game I noticed that there is no possibility of developing Pal's skills, such an elephant has 1 in watering the fields and stays like that until the end, which means that after some time it ceases to be useful and it can only be replaced with a larger Pal, and this causes problems with a tight structure, and when there are 15 huge creatures running around the base (because only such creatures have a skill level of 3-4), the game does not work well even on decent hardware. So I want to be able to improve these skills and even add new ones if possible.

I hate that the oversized Alpha/Boss versions have better stats, basically forced to use them from a pragmatic standpoint.
Especially since it seems like the boss versions in the world/towers also just have stupidly high damage taken reduction modifiers given how my Jetragon mirror match went.
It's like the game wants me to change the damage settings off of 1:1.

Another instance of pve being limited by a smaller pvp crowd. Either way be nice to just remove physics from them in bases.

'Shiny' and 'Boss' Pals are all bigger than their Non-special counterparts. Just make sure you aren't using the massive ones, or alternatively. Use smaller Pals.

Or just plan your base accordingly.

You can improve their skills by 1 if ya condense like 100+ of them to get to 4stars... but thats it.

As an aside, this would be less of a problem if we could zoom out further than you can smell a ladybug fart.
I hope they implement a zoom system. When I'm inside buildings, all I can see is the exterior of the building.

They could add a Pal Shrinking Field type tech that covers the base.
Players could chose to use it.

to implement another slider.
Yes. In the settings for Halo Infinite I can change little things like the position I hold my rifle on the screen. I think it'd be possible to include distance settings in-game even without going in to the game settings.
