How to set pals free after catching them
Hello pals,

as i was catching pals i was wondering, if i could set them free again if i choose to not want them anymore. I don't really want to stack a ton of pals in my pal box, just so they can sit there.
Does anybody know if there is a way to get rid of them again, once i caught them?

Open the tech tree and look to the right side and you will see you have 0 ancient tech points and how much ancient tech points you need to unlock things that will mostly be locked at the early levels. To get ancient tech points you need to beat one of the bosses in the game that you see on the map. Once you are at the right level and have enough points you can unlock the essence machine and then use it to upgrade the rank of same race type pals. So if you have no intentions of using the chicken type pal and have 10 of em then like others have said, butcher em or sell em to the pal merchant. You can find two merchants at the npc settlement, one sells basic stuff and the second one sells and buys pals.

You have to either sell them at a pal merchant or butcher them with a butcher knife.

sacrifice them to make one stronger. or chop chop on the block

I managed to drop one of mine - not sure how I did it, but it dropped as a Pal Sphere and I assume it would vanish after a restart if left on the ground. (I picked mine up again, so not sure about that last sentence.)

you can also sell them to the pal dealers, or just drop them on the ground.

Well, you can sell them in the Small Settlement, squish them into an Upgrade, or promote them to Kebebs. Pal Spheres remove all ability to function independently, so releasing them back into the wild would be needlessly cruel.

Butcher them with butcher knife.

Turn them into nutrients to make another pal of same species stronger.

Sell them to pal merchant or black marketeer.

Okay and how do i turn them into nutrients for other pals? I only started yesterday and am lvl 10, if that helps for any tips

Eventually there will be an Ancient Tech unlock.

You can release them, you know?

But only in the Active Party. You go there and pick the "Drop Pal" option.

Find it strange you can release them from your Party, but not the Storage.
