Dungeons outside of the starter area are hard to find?

I don't know why but I seem to only find dungeons in the first few areas. I have never found a dungeon in the desert areas or snowy areas.

many people didn't even know theres a Dungeon on the island you wake up in.

The snowy area dungeons are easy to find. They're like tiny white hills with glowing ice crystals. Easy to spot from the air in green northern forests. But don't bother with them unless you're past level 40.
