Well, I see. There is Earth type. I believe it's the same as Ground one )
Well, I've made another one attempt. Bringing 5 lvl 15 pals with me. 2 of them - boar and dear - had earth damage... And recalling wounded pals.
I survived for 7 minutes, dealt ~60% of boss health damage. So not enough even if I'd survive for all 10 minutes.
Boar does 400 damage, what is a bit better than the crossbow. But not enough.
One big problem I have with my pals is that they don't want to fight themselves. I can ride the boar and shoot with its abilities, but itself it doesn't fight, simply soaking the boss damage.
But how do I know what type the boss is?
sorry, you mean they fight only if I fight in close combat? and if fight remaining the distance and fire with the crossbow they wouldn't?
no it was just a reference to sword art online abridged.
I tried to kill it 3 times already and no luck!
Beating that cute girl down so you can catch her took me and my GF quiet some arrow's and our 2 best Pal's. Its more about "hiding" and switching agro than openly stand there and fight her (sadly.. would have loved a better RPG system than "it outlevels you it will 2 shot you no matter what" (good thing mods are around AND you can change parameters easily). Alone? Not tried, but i think it will be equaly easy. Just let your pal tank or best YOU tank it while your pal does the hard hitting. Recomend that blue dragon you can get on lvl 11 for it. Its moveset can be quiet helpfull AND devastating especiel since his base attack has the hidden property of SETTING THEM ON FIRE
I think there should be symbol on screen next to the lifebar. Grizzbolt is electric type, which along with dragon is the rarest type in the game.
Earth/Ground type attacks are more effective here. A good chunk of pals learn sand blast at level 7, and a few more learn some type of ground attack by level 15.
Worth pointing out ALL of Grizzbolt's attacks are electric type. This will not be the case for future tower bosses who have attacks of different elements.
They take extra damage from Grizzbolt. At the very least Pengullet might freeze Grizzbolt if you are lucky, but otherwise it's not really worth it.
- get a daydream and craft its collar
- use a crossbow
all you need, just shoot him in the head, and just run behind pillars. That boss is not hard to do, did it myself yesterday, first try was a big succes barely scratched me, while i had agro for most of the time..
I definitely did 2 things wrong.
1. Catching pals (below 10) is great EXP boost. I mostly catched 1 per type to see their abilities and didn't capture them in mass.
2. I thought to catch one I need to have free space in my team. Actually I don't need that. They simply appear at my base.
Now I can take EXP much faster.
