rolling keybinding

I know this is just preference, but any suggestions for anything other than the control key for rolling? I just can't seem to find a way to use the control key efficiently. My dodging sucks. :) I'm not typically a switcher of keybindings, just can't get this one to work.

It is pretty dumb you can "change keybindings" but all of them are not assignable. Hopefully it is fixed pretty soon, I have to play without dodging or use a controller because my hand is not shaped the correct way to press ctrl while maneuvering with wasd. I always rebind it to alt in other games or a mouse button.

Okay. Same here. I just can't get control to work for me. I thought maybe caps lock was worth a try, but can't use that key?

I'm using Q to dodge/descend while flying, G to Throw and V to toggle run.

Has controler support if you want to play that way.

Controller is suprisingly intutive and has the right settings just inventory is best done with the mouse and keyboard

I wish it supported extra mouse buttons, I put dodge/dash on my mouse side button in every game and digging through the settings to disable onboard memory mode to rebind and then switching back when I play something that does support them is too much effort, so I'm just using ctrl even tho it feels dumb and triggers the cursor finder if I happen to hit it too quickly

The Logitech Gaming Software will detect what game is active and change the layout of your mouse/keyboard automatically. (meaning you can map Ctrl to a mouse button and the software will swap the load-outs for you)

Not sure if this will work with a Non-Logitech mouse but felt it was worth mentioning.

yeah but I use onboard memory mode so when I use it on another pc it works the same without having to setup software

Ah, no worries (does your mouse have a toggle to swap between presets? I use a supper low DPI for fishing in WoW ... that i can toggle on off)

Keybinding in general is something that games should allow. Not everyone plays the same way.

Maybe I'm just using it wrong? I want to strafe and then roll when an attack is imminent. Are any of you using the dodge mechanic differently? Can you effectively dodge without strafing?

are you not using your pinky for ctrl? cause strafing and scrolling isn't all that difficult with ctrl

With my hands ... No. On WASD i can hit shift but not ctrl.
