No, it's open world with options for single player, 4 player co-op, and servers with up to 32 players.

Yes it is Massively multiplayer online (MMO) only the difference is you have to choose servers you wana join or make your own servers so other will join actually this game is for solo players but it have other options it can be multiplayer online

It's basically the same situation as Minecraft. Solo play, co op play, or dedicated multiplayer servers.
