In all seriousness, that's a rather peculiar bug heh
Far as I can tell, none of my Pals have had that happen to them yet--I'm pretty sure I'd notice if someone named Sally was suddenly male lol--but I'll keep my eyes out. cx
Heheh it is indeed quite peculiar, and yeah exactly xD started making me raise a few eyebrows, it happened again shortly after this post where one of my Katress' that I for sure named Lunar because it was female, and I used quite often, suddenly came out of my Sphere male...so I'm pretty convinced I'm not crazy now xD
Yeah I think you might be right...Should probably stop feeding them these chemically enhanced berries 3000 as well just to be safe...
Not a bad shout actually, I did already put a bug report in about it telling them what I had known but yeah, If i can get a screenshot showing a before/after if I can re-create it that'd probably be quite useful.

The code to change it literally does not exist anywhere in the game...
That being said it could be a display issue but restarting the client would fix that....
In order for this bug to actually be a bug that can happen there would literally have to be a way to change genders that was getting called without reason but nothing in the game can change the gender meaning that a "Bug" that can do it would be impossible.
The code to cause said bug.. cant exist. You are going to be like ... well how do you know!?
I can program unlike you.. that's how I know. Go learn how to code in literally any language and you will understand why what you are saying can't actually be happening.

I am more intelligent than you that's how. No other way to say it. If you know how to program in any language and have ever worked with a database you understand how hilarious this sounds.
If this bug were real it would happen all the time to almost everyone under certain circumstances and would not be taking days to be found as it would be caused by something literally modifying something which is never changed at alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll which would mean the bug its self would cause the system being implemented to literally not work.
Most issue with this game due to variables being changed and the client literally not updating properly.
Sometimes you level weight carry.. doesnt update... this is because the developers are hilariously incompetent and dont call the ui to update after you level up... which is just... hilariously bad...
What do I know though apparently if you do anything as a personal hobby it means ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol.
How does this fit with the norm? The norm of slavery and abuse as well as animal cruelty? This game is not really PC but whatever lol.

Here's the thing.
Some games feature slavery and animal cruelty before Palworld.
It is a nortious series that got the whole Nintendo fanbois salty.
It is Pokemon.
So don't bother virtue signaling about Palworld having slavery or 'animal' cruelty.
I just had the same issue with a breeding pair. I just got 2 eggs out of a pair of warsects before I last logged off. Login today and all my warsects are males.
Edit: After being on for a little while longer, it seems to have changed back to female... maybe the game needed more time to load? 🤷♂️
