Pals not mining

I set up a mining base. Its got around 6 things of ore in it, but i'll leave do some exploring and come back and only have 5 things of ore. I've got 3 mining pals set up with lvl 2-3 mining. The only way they give me more than 5 ore is if i stay standing in the base.

seems like pals only work if someone is nearby. Absolutely pointless

Bases go into stasis when players are not around. The only work around is buy another account to baby sit them

Would be less irritating if it was that but i'm on a server with friends and their pals are passively doing it so they're getting all this ore while i have to manually farm it.

they work always in my bases. have you enough food, hot springs and sleeping space for them?

Are u in single player with MP on ? or single player with MP off, or on a dedicated Server?

the issue seems to be specifically with getting them to harvest those natural resources when unloaded. Pals seem to perform base functions fine when unloaded but they really struggle to mine ore rocks when unloaded. At least from what I can tell, this is really the only thing that hasnt been working for me from far away.

No, its not. Ive spend ours testing out ways to get it to work. Quite a let down

I have no problems with pals mining when I am not there. SIngle player.

I guess when i leave my pc i'll just leave myself at my mining base and loaded in for a bit so i get ore than lol.

You don´t even need hot springs, beds, farm, feeder, chest .... and you are good to go. Just basics, I never hang around, I get the ore and port out.

I don't know where people got that you have to be there I have a 2nd base and the pals constantly have ore sitting in the box after days pass by the ore only spawns once a day. You also need to have pals that have at least 2 mining only they can do ore and that is on singleplayer.

without food they starve and get ko
without hot springs they get sick and sleep alot more
without beds the lose alot of "sanity"
