For god's sake, add a option to disable/reduce autosave frequency
To put things simple, this game saves every 30 seconds / 1 minute, at the beggining of the game, this is not a problem, but when things starts getting bigger and the game needs more time to save everything, the game stutter everytime it's going to save and it starts to become extremely annoying and is honestly making my experience with the game so much worse. As a experienced Unreal gamedev/programmer, I'm pretty sure any programmer in the team could fix it in the matter of hours, just by additing a new slider in the UI that allows the player to control the frequency of the auto-save in his world.

Yeah, the current autosave interval is kinda ridiculous, and not being able to adjust the interval... well, I guess there are a number of weird design choices in this game, so that checks out.
Still, would 100% appreciate an update adding an option like that.

I just started playing the game today and it’s literally auto saved at least 50 times already…..I wouldn’t mind so much, but it’s freezing my game while it does it

Honestly it sounds like you guys need faster SSDs. Because I have never had a single stutter when it saves. And I have gotten all the way to the "end", and started a second SP world.

Not everyone has a high end PC or SSD, my machine is better than the game's recomemded requirements, so it should at least run smouthly without any random stuttering.

Definitely need this. I found this post because I was googling how to change autosave frequency. It needs to be in the settings. Even changing it to once every 5 minutes would be fine.

definitely a need.
Yeah they should add save points that looks like in Elden Ring. Auto-save is unnecessary for modern games though.

Sure, now you say that. But when you lose power unexpectedly, or the game randomly crashes, or any number of a 100 other things that can happen, and you have to redo a good 2 hours to 10 hours of progress. Then you'll be thankful for them.

what is this for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ been plaing for 250 hours and never had a problem with auto save
reglar play 8 hours strait
go geth ssd game runs faster
saunds more like a hard ware problem than a game problem

I've never encountered stuttering from auto-saving. For the first few hours playing I didn't even know the game auto-saved, I was doing the quit to title save and thinking that was how you saved the game offline.

Notice how it's a month later and that dude has yet to post his "is better than the game's recomemded requirements" exact rig specs.

I suspect that anyone that is seeing these stutters, does not have a CPU/GPU/SSD that is good enough to even run this game. And meet the 'Minimum Requirements' in maybe one or 2 things, but not all of them. Yet they complain because 'PEBKAC'.
