That's PLBKAC.
Have fun restarting!
1. cry
2. create a new world
You might notice there isn't a lot of people saying the game is crashing, and the game crashing is very different form your whole PC anyway, so I'd be more concerned about what's wrong with my system than some save you can just start over (and will probably want to by the time full release comes out and things have changed)
I suggest you read this
https://store.steampowered.com/earlyaccessfaq/?snr=1_5_9_
these are made every hour
Been using cloud saves on hundreds of games ever since they added the feature and never lost a save with a game that has them.
Games that didn't for a long time, like Terraria, are another matter entirely and those are the only ones I ever lost saves on; never, ever lost a save due to cloud saves. (again, because I read the dates carefully when prompted)
Can you tell me how to load these backups? I had a power outage for a moment and it removed my world.
(Edit! I figured it out! A wonderful video on Youtube by TroubleChute named "Rollback Saves | Restore Progress | Simple AUTOMATIC Backup/Restore Guide for Palworld" worked perfectly!
If anyone else looses their world on PC, I HIGHLY recommend following this video to get your world back!)
I've had mixed results with EaseUS in the past; it's been 15 years since i needed it so maybe it's better, the fact that they are still around says something.
Windows apparently has their own little recovery tool on the store now, so that's cool, and probably where I'd start.
In a perfect world Windows would just have a previous version of the folder available, but rarely do people have backups that intense. So check there first, but I'd be installing the tool while checking because it's likely gonna be necessary (and wouldn't be a bad tool to have on deck anyway)
