This aint a high funded game. Thats just profit that steam didnt even pay out yet. Steam wont pay untill at least the refund period is over and then there's set dates by Valve so the developers havnt seen your money just yet.
It's uh, in the title...
Valve holds payment for 30 days. So the first time they possible wil lsee money is 19th february.
correct it is the name of the title, the linked quote does not say highest funded
Think they were expecting ARK type style patching. You know, the 500mb to 2gb patches daily that fixed textures, sound errors etc. Was always nice going to play ark and having to download another game's file size because of a texture glitch lol.
actually they made that money through crowd funding the 6-7 mil who cares if they got the other 200+mil or not think about it 3-4 years of development 6-7 mil between 4 people they're still living comfortably off of that even after expenses for anything that had to buy vs designing themselves. this is all assumption as they haven't listed expenses to know for sure
They hired 50~ people for palworld and please source me about crowdfundingg cause I dont think that's ever been a thing.
