The calculator shows they are both easy to breed with many options for combinations, and Pyrin is actually significantly easier to find in the world, as it spawns in several locations, while fenglope spawns in only 2, one is a boss the other is the Wildlife Sanctuary.
Plus, I'd happily take the nearly 15% speed increase with Pyrin over the ability to double jump, which I'd literally never use, as Pyrin jumps VERY high on it's own.
Sadly not an option as too many people have too many custom settings for stamina, I use 0.1 stamina depletion rate personally, a I prefer to spend more than 10secs sprinting and flying to get around the map.
Ah, well, that's where some fliers have greater value than others. Some may be slower, but have longer reach by virtue of more stamina. For example, in my own tests using normal stamina depletion rates, Ragnahawk is faster in a sprint than a Quivern, but a quivern can stay in the air sprinting for around 18 seconds, whereas Ragnahawk can stay in the air for only around 10. With the speed differences, Quivern manages to go around 1.3 to 1.5x further than Ragnahawk before running out of stamina. With this lower waiting time between stamina regen, Quivern ends up covering longer distances faster.
Weird, I obtained a Pyrin LONG before I ever encountered a Fenglope.
Vanwyrm, Nitewing, Cinnamoth, Sweepa. All easy to obtain, Grintale, Elizabee, Beakon.
Bro I have the list next to me, so this is a fail at YOU trying to be right.
Again, though, Pyrin is in TONS of places, you'll encounter several just meandering around, while Fenglope is in two places.
Also, all the pals needed to breed a Fenglope are just as easy to obtain.
I.E. "They are both easy to breed with many options for combinations"
Also best breeding calculator.
Ragnahawk is a very respectable mid-level mount and good all-around pal. Great partner skill that makes it must-have for some late/end game content.
One thing you didn't mention in your list is level at which saddle unlocks. If you're playing solo, vanwyrm is the best mount you'll have access to up until level 33. After that you get decent incremental progression up til level 38 where you can unlock faleris. Then it just weirdly stops progressing again until level 47/48 where you can unlock shadowbeak and frostallion. The suzakus probably need a rework because neither of them is an actual upgrade from ragnahawk/faleris/beakon
Not as brain damaged as people who necro old threads to restart arguments.
