best place for a sulfur and ore base?

I heard somewhere some are ain SE is decent but I genuine cant find that supposely great place lol

Sulfur + ore? i am unnaware of this place, SE looks even weirder as it isn't on the vulcan that is SW where sulfur is more common.

For sulfur i have two places that i just mine manually and didn't placed a base, one is beside the vulcan boss tower and the other is close to a lava pool going over the ridge coming south from the castle north of the vulcan biome close to the entrance to a boss cave.

A base for sulfur looks like a waste honestly as a single travel of 5-10 minutes you can get more sulfur you will need to fight any boss in the game.

Anyway, as i just finished all the tower bosses and got a jetragon i'm just exploring the map and will update here if i find any good place for a sulfur outpost.

for me "main base" "ore base" "coal base" and if i need sulfur just fast travel to the volcano "boss tower" and grapple or dire wolf charge bk to "waypoint". when overweight.

there is a lot of sulfur nodes next to the syndicate tower in the volcano region. you can just teleport there, mine it with a digtoise, grapple back to teleportor, teleport back to base, grapple to chest and you are set. The waterfall base location has a ton of ore and a single sulfur node within close enough distance if you place the palbox correctly but since its a single node you will not get much
