Haven't been able to play multiplayer or even be online while playing since install.
Every time I boot up the game Im given a:

"Failed to Eos login. Error: ULoginEOSAsyncFunction::Activate() failed"

"Sorry, you're currently prevented from playing online multiplayer games. You will not receive an invitation because multiplayer is restricted in your environment."

In like 10 seconds at the main menu the game "crashes" and closes and Im given a crash report that says:

"Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x00000000000001b8

Palworld_Win64_Shipping

ntdll"

On the rare occasions, first time playing after an update, that it doesn't "crash" immediately it says:

"Your device cannot be used to host multiplayer matches."

Above the difficulty option for Start Game. Join Multiplayer Game (Invite Code) is grayed out and after selecting the Join Multiplayer Game I get a message that says:

"Session Search Error
FindSessions OnlineSubsystem==nullptr"

With the servers page being blank and getting the same error message when selecting Official or Community Servers.

I have to boot up the game and immediately disconnect from my router to even play the game at all and use cloud sync saves, I've seen variations of my problems online but no fix that works for me specifically. I've tried every "basic fix" you can think of such as verifying game cache, uninstalling, etc and still no luck. I understand it's in early access but I think these issues are on my end and Im pretty much missing out on half the game here so any help would be appreciated and for anyone else with the same problem.

Both problems just fixed themselves, honest to god I didn't think this was an issue that could be fixed on the other end given my track record. My advice that it's all on their end so if you have the same problem you just have to wait until they fix it, thanks Palworld team I guess.

If you get the error message "Failed to Eos login. Error: ULoginEOSAsyncFunction::Activate() failed", wait immediately for about 5-10 seconds without clicking anything away until the error message with timeout appears. Then you can click everything away and the game will no longer crash.

But online play will only be possible with your own server, the public server list will not be loaded.

This is the same exact issue I am facing. Just Started today.

I was randomly browsing the threads and saw your error message. I had a few things you can try in the meantime.
The first error message means it couldn't reach the system that host Palworld servers. In rare cases their servers can be down for maintenance and then go back online. For example there was downtime of 30 minutes on the server lobbies today that would kick everyone out during that time with that error message. I was keeping watch on the official palworld status page on their website, as it lists when the servers are down.

One person mentioned that if you can reach the world settings and turn off multiplayer, then loading up the world, if it loaded properly then going back to the menu and turning multiplayer back on would fix it, assuming its not related to server downtime.

There was also a method to force the system to connect to the server, by using a teleport in game, which had some success to it. Something that deals with teleport in a "off multiplayer game" and then the above steps of turning it back on. I believe they choose to teleport to an area with no enemies or pals.

in short
turn online OFF then load in and then TELEPORT BEFORE you leave and turn multiplayer on
or
create new world with multiplayer on, leave immediately and go to your real world which would resync that old world

hopefully this helps a little. If not I will keep looking for tips.

These are some of the "variations" of fixes of seen that can't help me. I probably worded it poorly but when I said "Above the difficulty option for Start Game" I mean world settings and I meant the multiplayer option which just says, "Your device cannot be used to host multiplayer matches." Also my game crashes almost immediately when booted up when online that I have zero time to change any settings, and even if I could all settings involving multiplayer are either grayed out or I get an error message when selecting it. It's almost like Im playing and illegal copy or I've been banned from multiplayer but of course I bought my copy from the Steam store and I have yet to even play multiplayer to get any sort of ban even if that is a thing. But thanks for your help regardless.

Thanks, that solved one problem but I still can't play multiplayer regardless if Im hosting or trying to join another server.

Im starting to think this is some "Network/Router" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on my end, I don't have access to the router I use to make changes or "port forwarding" or anything like that while no other game I've ever played makes you do that to play multiplayer. Does anyone know is this how it's always gonna be or do they have plans to make it so it's not convoluted to play multiplayer like a normal game.

Having an identical problem. Same errors. Same crashes. I'm at the same place as you, I can launch the game, wait out the messages, and play solo without it crashing (crashes if I don't wait out the messages). But the point of getting the game was to play it with some friends and having multiplayer completely grayed out and unavailable kinda defeats the purpose, lol.

I hope a fix is found soon. :/ Bumps.

Still looking for a fix. Single player runs fine, no issues. EOS timeout still. No multiplayer. Tried all the suggested work arounds and resets......
