A 1060 is not considered very Mid Spec, due to more games being demanding. as the Mainstream cards you get today come with at least 8GB VRAM and are more potent with future proofing (DLSS, Ray Trace, etc) older cards or even previous revisions start to lose their potency.
Now, for some games, they are okay, trying to run say Hogwarts Legacy or something that stranges Vram and Clock Usage, is gonna be able to barely run. Depends...
Part of your issue is a few things. Your computer needs a clean out, you're suffering Thermal Throttle or you think seeing "my pc runs x game, the specs will be fine" without thinking of Bottleneck, Drivers, System Stability or age.
For all we know, you could be running a i3-4300 or a Ryzen 5 2600. Also, most cards operate within that temperature, then depending on your season yknow? My 3080 gets to about 72C and it's hot here.
Feel like this is a troll post or just panic post because "it didn't work" without seeing general solutions.
im very protective of my pc equipment
xDDDDD
it will lower the temp at all games you play and will not effect its performance (just youtube it~ its really easy to do)
