Delete your character from a server (Not the host)
Haven't heard alot of topics on it but im trying to figure it out. I want to remove myself from my friends server and get the option to create my character again. The tutorials people have posted to remove the files from my computer just do not exist. So following the guides has not been fruitful. Anyone know how to do this? The method I tried was the C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\SaveGames on your computer. I dont have any of this.. Thanks in advance!

On my own dedicated server the character saves are specifically on the server, not on my system. I would expect this to be the same when it comes to just joining a friends server if they just directly host it, so you would probably have to ask them to delete the specific playersave-number.save that is tied to yours.

You need to get the player file from the Server it wont be on your machine.

even when you get the player file from the server doubt you will be able to do anything with it. It seems everybodys toons are saved as one file now. I own a dedicated, and when I went into the player files and deleted the only one that changed when i logged on/off it wiped everybodys toons as well.
think the only option is to delete your palbox, break anything thats left, then just make a new toon, and don't play the old one anymore.
I'm guessing wait 74 hourse not playing the server and it should automatically be deleted

Is that the setting? I'm pretty sure that's the guild reset, not players. I don't have it turned on on my server so i don't know what it does actually.

That aside, you need to have the admin delete your character. Find your steam ID, I usually use https://steamrep.com/.

Then the admin needs to go into the files to delete your character:
*\palworld\2394010\Pal\Saved\SaveGames\0\*unique ID*\Players - something like this

Your number should be on one of the files in here. Delete that and your character is gone.

edit: now that i'm looking at my server's files the numbers don't match up. Your admin will need to use the admin commands via the server to get your info and then find the right file instead of using the external number.
