Well yeah, I do believe that a huge lucky pal SHOULD be ultra rare. I just wanted to know if they existed or not.
they exist although both of the times i've encountered them in dungeons only, and in both times they weren't in their boss room, as well as boss room being empty.
the biggest clue is that they weren't even the same level as normal mob lvls seen in the dungeon.
however, they are classified as shiny once caught not boss so technically you are right.

Thing is, once you beat the boss in a dungeon, enemies stop spawning entirely. That would include the alpha in the boss room too basically. It's all proximity based too. You gotta get near the boss room for the boss to spawn. So both a lucky and an alpha could hypothetically be caught from the same one dungeon. You'd just have to somehow have the boss loaded before catching the lucky I'm guessing. Which is only really feasible in multiplayer.
