I lost my character ?

I'm trying to connect to the server I have with friends
I had a level 18 character I think, but the game asks me to create a new character...
Of course, I did it once to check what it would do.
I can actually use the camp of the old character but the Pals of the old character have disappeared and inevitably I am lvl 1 and I have to start all over again...
What can you do to resolve this bug? I want to play my first character again!

This has been happening for a couple days, devs seem to aware of the issue and are working on fixing it, in the meantime they have a guide for loading backed up saves.

From the little I've read about today's patch the issue is still happening. Personally I'm pumping the brakes until this problem is resolved.

Lots my online carac thursday, and, once more today...
But today i lost my solo game too, and... the solution from the link doesn't work at all...

So i'm on full joy to loose two time on three days everything i've done in this game.

Happened to me and now my character wont swing weapons more than once

just happened to my friend and i on official 177… our characters/pals/ based all wiped after a dc. logging back in to see the character creation screen is soooo ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up… ark never hurt us like this dude
