MICROSOFT UPDATE THE GAME TO THE LATEST VERSION

I somone who has the game on gamepass cannot play with my friend who bought it from steam all thanks to versions being diffrent ♥♥♥♥ you microsoft , i dont have money for now ffs
Edit > Apologies I guess People have informed me that big part of the Update schedule problem was because of The main Developers , I should have done my research before Blaming Ms here , the game has been out for a Week now And not having multiplayer and semi unstable version with crashes is really painful

The Game Pass version is intentionally limited. It is a preview version only. I tried it via Game Pass before buying it on Steam, and the Game Pass version has what seems to be intentionally excluded features. It is a demo, not a full game release like Game Pass normally does.

Also these are the Steam forums, not Microsoft. They won't get this feedback.

Xbox Game Preview does not mean "demo" it is merely Xbox's version of "Early Access"
Not exactly sure why everyone is calling it a demo when it is not.
It might be a few version behind the Steam version but that is probably due to how Xbox handle game updates and the length of time it takes for game update to get approval by Xbox for release.

Once the game is purchased, you are entitled to every update as the game moves to its final commercial release as well as the final version of the game when it is finished.

The only difference is 4 players vs 32 players on a server.

i thought i can play with my friend :( i have the game from game pass and he from Steam but the microsoft store version is v0 1.1.1 and even with Steam console you cant find that version on Steam

Pocketpair has stated that the version numbers will likely never match because of how their build and release process is different for each version. The two versions as far as content and bug fixes are concerned are an exact match outside of player count in a game right now (Xbox/Windows Store is 4 players, Steam is 32).
