Arrow Types and Bows

For the love of all things arrows and bows. Can we please get rid of specific bow types to utilize certain arrows? Any bow should be able to fire any arrow type.

i can get behind this idea, this bow type seems like a bloat to tech trees

I agree with that honestly. It's a bit annoying to have to have three bows or three crossbows

Really they mainly should combine the bow techs with the arrow techs mainly. Whos gonna get the fire arrows and not also want the fire bow? I don't mind the different bow requirement that much, although it is a little silly. It mirrors later game a bit better though with the different ammo types for different guns.

i know this is unrelated but is poison dot just a different flavor of fire dot? assuming you are using those specific bow+arrow

I'd wager going against a fire pal with a fire bow would be... less effective, but I don't know if thats actually in the game.

Can you use any arrow type with Crossbow or just normal?

It is kinda needless to have a special bow to use a type of arrow, it would be something if they bows could use regular arrows and add a little effect to the arrow but needing a fire crossbow to use fire arrows is just needless.

I suspect it is the way it is currently because there's no ammo switching. I hope there will be though, not only to be able to use status arrows without weapon switching, but also because it could allow for different ammo types when using guns.

Agreed. Adding the ability to just switch ammo types and replace the bow unlocks with ammo types would be such a game-changer.

just normal arrows. Upside is they do nearly 300 damage a shot or so.
