The game could add up every item you have in chests including the resources spent to make your base and store that all in a container inside the base terminal, so you can rebuild your base in your friend's world.
2. Job priority interface
UI for your pal to determine the priority of the jobs they do, or to disallow a job type entirely.
3. Armor transmog
There's a few fun hats you can make, but they are exceedingly weak which limits you to only using armor.
4. Deep sea pals
Dive underwater with rebreather equipment to find aquatic pals.
5. Option to disable base size limitation
Only being allowed to build in a small circle sucks.
6. The ability to breed shinies
Big pals are fun, let us be able to breed them even if the "lucky" trait doesn't pass on.
7. Consume schematics/ blueprints
As they are now they eat up room, and sifting through multiple boxes looking for the right one is annoying.
8. Tone down the cooking frying sound
9. Visual difference for shinies besides only size
Randomized colors?
2: A T4 Transport Pal that just instantly sucks up item dropped entity in your base and automatically sorts it or places it in to the nearest storage container near it. Make it something stationary too. Make it a maid weilding a vacuum like a rifle and put a switch on it that has "Suck" on one part and "Blow" on the other. (obvious space balls reference) "No one knows how or where maids manage to keep all the tools at their disposal, consider it a maidens secret." (giving yet another tip of the hat to the anime girls whipping out giant hammers from some imaginary storage)
3: Ability to lock, or unlock certain tasks so Pals can more easily be set to perform specific roles while not doing other roles they may be capable of.
4: Soul Harvester: Let us turn unwanted pals in to pal souls ranging from small, medium, and large.
-needs more glass type walls
-needs more maps, extremely beautiful ones with sunsets/sunrise where you can build your dream base on
To get the 4th star on a pal you need to condense 64 of them in the condenser. That by itself isn't the problem, let me break it down.
You need 64 pals
You have a maximum box capacity of 480 pals
You have to tie up 13.3% of your total capacity (not including working slots) for a single pal to get the 4th star
It gets even worse when you condense from 0 - 4. You need 116 pals to do that which requires a staggering 24.2% of your total box capacity.
I suppose one could argue that the condensation requirements should be reduced, but I think they're just fine, getting a max tier pal should require some grind.
- Lighter metal or more points of max encumbrance per level invested. Right now, metal mining is a pain in the ass simply because of how long it takes to shuttle it all back. Not being able to leave a base down in a metal field and have it all regenerate further hurts this, and the issue would honestly be a lot less of one if metal just weighed 25-50% less than it currently does... or I didn't have to invest 20 levels of stat points into weight to carry two and a half nodes worth of ore home.
- More loot variety, and more of it. Chest loot, particularly in the early game, feels very basic and mostly useless. I don't know what they could add, but it really feels like chests need that delight factor that you get in games like ark when you loot a beacon/deep sea and get something amazing out of it every so often. Especially for locked chests. It doesn't need to be schematics; they could have a rare chance to drop the item itself at the rarity the schematic would instead have dropped at.
- Less punishing sphere crafting at later tiers. This is probably my biggest pain point, particularly with how much metal you need to farm to consistently make the resource you burn through the most of in general play. Metal farming isn't fun, period. It's a chore, and will always be a chore no matter how much QoL is added to it. Doesn't matter the game, nor the method, nor the mechanics. The fact that it's not possible to automate means that it needs to be something that's relatively painless to accomplish in decent quantities. Lacking ark's facility for using pets as a caravan/convoy to shuttle resources the player can't manage (cattiva doesn't count, given its paltry encumbrance boost), there needs to be something to enable players to move large amounts of metal without potentially 6-10 trips.
- Designatable storage. That is to say, primarily, that I need to be able to tell my pals whether they're taking X item to the feed box as they do now, or to the cooler so they're not trashing their own meal production every time they run out of pre-prepped meals. Ideally, we would be able to limit what items go in which container (Necesse does this well).
- More weapons. A sniper rifle would be fantastic. SMGs. Dual pistols/SMGs. Spear guns. Katanas (why does a Japanese game have a Western sword as its late-stage unlockable melee weapon?). Taser guns. Web guns. Dart guns. Throwing knives. Shurikens. So on, so forth.
- Health potions, or some equivalent. These should not function as an instant hit of HP (I know why they're not currently in the game, and I agree with that mechanic/principle), but as a means of expediting regeneration while not taking damage.
- Revival items. Rare and/or expensive, potentially only as loot from, say, locked chests. Self-explanatory; losing your flying mount for ten minutes at a time is pretty vexing, especially in a bred team.
- Tanks. I saw tanks in at least one of those pre-alpha screenshots. Sleezepunk requires tanks to support his fragile self-esteem. Where are my tanks?
- Weather. Rain, snow, sandstorms, fire storms, blizzards. Obviously specific to their respective biomes, but these would be a nice addition down the track.
- World events. Think Terraria's random events where every base on the map comes under siege from various factions of mobs. Larger-scale base raids, essentially, that happen to everyone simultaneously. These could be pal swarms, or faction movements.
I'll tie up there, so I'm not making an already huge post any bigger. But there's heaps of stuff the game could use, and as someone who loves to mod games to the point that my rig can barely handle running them, I'd love to see a lot of it in vanilla.
- general more β-Pals or even γ or δ
- a way to up those tiny pals in their working stats from example, a fuack with level 3 watering
- Add more building parts, Weight system to building (like Conan Exiles or Valheim)
- Multiseated Mechs for pals.
- Boats (Raft from ARK)
- Trade Caravans (Player send resources to (X) Player base) Must be guarded.
- Underwater content
- Meele update (Meele sucks ass right now)
