Stone base vs wood base

I know wood base burns down can u damage stone base also?

AFAIK, the stone or steel base doesn't get damaged or burn like wood.

They can be damaged by attacks and such but they do not catch fire or anything over time like that.

above mentions doesnt get damaged. if destroy platform full base falls apart :/

stone and metal don't burn but raids can still damage and destroy both.

Weird because I didn't see any repair options on those stone bases.

Wood base seems to have 1 advantage. Digiturtle or whatever doesn't damage wood as strongly as stone. Since there are no PvP yet it doesn't matter though.

you build repair tools and place them in any boxes. Some pets take them and repair buildings.

But I never craft any repair tools, lol!
And many times level 30 raided my base, but never once did my stone base get damaged.

me and my friends get raided by level 41s now. they can bust through a few layers of metal walls lmao.

Building are very resistant to most attacks, so it's rare to see one actually get destroyed by pals, especially if you have the whole base full of pals to defend against them, whose own attacks cannot damage any buildings (just make sure a beegarde doesn't try to explode itself in the process).

I tend to do stone at the bottom with wood on top.
Just to make it look aestethically pleasing.
Also, I don't play with raids on, because I find them more annoying than challenging.

If your base is getting destroyed by raids, you need to rethink your layout (maybe put down some of the defensive ones in the path raids usually come), get stronger pals to guard it, and/or intercept the raid yourself with aoe attacks. I don't think the repair option shows up unless a building is damaged in the first place.

You guys are right, I tried to attack with bare hands, and it did damage to the stone base, lol!
In response to the OP, yeah the stone or steel base can still get damaged by attack.

Just put your base somewhere where you don't get raided.
I have a spot for that.
And when I made a second base in some random location, it got instantly raided.
