Dedicated Server Save issues

So I started a Multiplayer game and invited some friends to play on it. I learn about the dedicated server, so I get that setup and transfer our Multiplayer save to the dedicated server. Everything we built is here but I had to make a new character so ended up losing access to all character progress, and since we were in a guild, cant even pick up from here. Any way to get the dedicated server to recognize us?

Not sure if it will work for everyone save file or just the host, but this works.
