Advice for large stomach Pals?
I'd like to use some of the bigger Pals in my bases, but the meals I can easily make don't feed them nearly enough. Am I meant to hunt down meat-bearing Pals to feed them if I want to use them efficiently, or will I get a more sustainable meal or better option that feeds enough to support big Pals?

I've sustained my base with two berry fields from the start. I've had no issues, never saw a reason to feed them anything better tbh.

That and fried eggs and such work well for small Pals, but I find some of the large ones burn through that 15 food really fast so they spend more time trying to eat than doing work. I'm going to try Salads for a bit, see if I can make those fast enough to keep up with my needs, otherwise I may have to hunt Broncherry or something to get some big meat to keep them happy and all.

One berry and one wheat farm is producing so much food my 13? pals can't eat fast enough.
Just cook the berries and stack them in your leftmost feed slot while you cook eggs and jamtoast.

Wheat fields help, there's a berry bread thing that's fairly cheap to make a feeds a lot. Lasts a while too.

True, Jam buns are pretty effective for most pals, I'm just finding them not keeping up with the appetites of larger Pals. I want to use those drill turtle guys to mine, but they are voracious I swear

Make something with wheat+berries or unlock even better farms and make something from them. I would say that small palls are better and medium pals, big and huge pals get stuck often or can't find path so for now they are kinda useless. I often need to respawn them or pick up so they can find path

Yeah fair, maybe I should stick with using them for manual mining if anything and keep to smaller Pals for sustained base work.

Also remember that PALS have personal status effects so look at thoes and make sure yo havent got one thats has 30% more feeding needs and such or ones that take more breaks.

It is not so much about them starving to death, but that they don't fill up completely (usually they fill to around half). This means high skill big pals (e.g. Job level 3/4), who tend to have high food requirements will walk to a task, do it for a few seconds, then walk back to feed to half and then walk back to task and then the cycle repeats.

Only workaround is high nutrition food to force them to fill up. Not 20ish nutrition from a cooked egg/berry but 100+ nutrition food.

Personally I make pancakes, it's 1 milk + 1 flour, it's hard to start production but once you make them then by 200 it becomes easier (I have 4 cows and you can definitely have some more)

I had what I think is a good idea, though it takes a bit more micromanagement. You can have feed bowls near various workstations or areas particular Pals will be harvesting, and another near the actual farms, and put the big food in the bowls near the hungry Pals, and small food where the small Pals are working. I believe they'll always try to eat from the nearest bowl, so if you set it up well you could keep your small Pals from eating the huge food as long as you make sure they have no reason to work near the large ones.

Two berry farms usually does the trick. Cook the berries, put 'em in the food bowl and forget, leave 'em to their work. xD

Yeah that works great for small pals, but it's the large ones that need more food, otherwise they're pretty much always running back and forth from feed box to task and don't get any work done. If you can keep them fed, they're efficient workers. It's just tricky to keep them properly fed without a lot going to waste on smaller pals that don't need giant meals.
