How base raids scale difficulty?
Player lvl, location or days passed?
I'm currently getting way to strong enemies to deal with, maybe because I cheesed some high lvl bosses?
I think I have no choice but to disable the raids until I have a decent base.

Honestly, it doesn't seem like there is any amount of scaling for raids. I've seen clips where people get a raid that's way too high level for them to deal with before they've even finished the tutorial objectives. In my personal experience, me and some friends have had a raid of level 30 Pals attack our base when we're barely level 20, and the next raid after that ends up being some level 10 Syndicate thugs. That being said, they might adjust this in the future so that they're more fair as part of the bug fixes or improvement things on their roadmap.

Better to disable them till you got some good combat pals ready to fight while away because they do seem to scale up very quickly and not worth the outcome unless a rare raid spawns such as the Lovander one so early on to catch

I think it's based on your base level, i got huge raid level gap after advancing my base by 2 level at the same time before my defense or pals is ready to defend it.

They absolutely need to rebalance raids. I just lost my whole base to a bunch of wild pals 10 levels higher than me with fire AoE spells - and I had not even unlocked stone walls. Very frustrating.

As best i can tell, its nothing to do with base level or even your own - but only what areas you have explored (basing this on level 31 lovanders raiding me when i was level 16 and base was only level 4

It scales off of the pals you have assigned in your base level. Not the adjusted level of the pals but the actual level they are so if you cheese a boss and use it in your base you will be paying for it. The player level itself may also have some effect since it would be odd to get level 5 thugs when you are level 30.

The highest level raid I had was 5 levels higher but you got so many pals at base at lvl 30+ you really shouldnt have problems dealing with raids.

this seems to be the more likely case, as on the server I am playing on. There are just 2 (well 4) bases, mine and then a guilds with a few players. They have several boss mods they have capped, and are getting some tough raids. While I have just mobs I have gotten myself, even some boss ones, but those are not assigned to the base. Base ones are as needed or if I find something better. Meanwhile I only get raids of about level 20 max, so far, and the Pal's just nuke them. I have no defenses, no walls, save for the house itself, and the raids just get AoE nuked before they can get to the first door.

Going to take some more experimenting to find out what actually does scale the raids, but this seems to be more likely the case of putting high level mobs IN the base before your hardly level 14.

I'm lvl 18 and have just been raided by 3 lvl 30 dragon, was a hard time but we beat them.
Just one advice in that case, when advised of a raid, put immediately the 5 strong pals with you in the box, to have your best fighters in the mellee instead of kitty workers, always forgot.

It weird ive never had a raid where my pals did not kill them in 3 or so seconds. maybe there is a factor

I had no bosses captured, not in my base, not in my team. The pals in my base were predominantly sheep and chicken - just one direwolf and one syndicate thug, but they were both at low (single digit) levels. My character himself (level 15, armed with a simple crossbow and metal spear) did not even have enough strength to defeat the first boss (as part of the tutorial, the female syndicate boss). Yes, I had done some exploring - I think I unlocked six fast travel points in total, but that is what the game entices you to do. If that triggers devastating 28-level raids that defeat all the pals present in minutes, down the player character several times and destroy all the buildings you built up until that point, there is something seriously wrong with the calculation here.

I am sure it scales with your level. You can see how the level of the raid is ony your level.

I explained several times explicitly that the raid I experienced (which made me quit playing the game for the moment) was more than ten levels above mine, and I had no means to stop it at all.
