Please add a way to assign base pals to specific tasks...
It gets kind of annoying when my Pals elect to farm berries when there is plenty of food... They have preferrential treatment of food tasks when there is enough food to last a century...

Please also make them focus on the rocks and trees FIRST before the logging and mining sites, and make the logging and mining sites count as in your inventory so you dont have to keep transferring and splitting into smaller pieces

Maybe at the box let players have a Task Sheet and they can set what has higher or lower priority.

don't need farms, use the ranch

You can. You can lift the pal up, and throw them at the job you want them to do. They should only ever do that job no matter what from then on. Works for me every time.

Must be nice. I dropped my Penking on the stone, he mined it for a few seconds, then ran across my base again to water the plantations the pengullet was already watering, despite it saying that his job was set to stone.

could use a rimworld style "priority assignment" system. let us set their schedule, instead of doing everything automatically.

I mean assigning Pals to do something specific, and keep doing it, is in the game already. It just isn't working properly. It's as if when they get hungry, or need to rest, the task to take care of those needs come first, and once they do them, it's as if the task you assigned them gets forgotten. Likely just a bug. But ya, a system where you could trigger what work skill they are assigned to use would be helpful, so that certain Pals that have stuff like transporting, mining, and kindling, you could toggle off transporting and kindling, that way they just focus on mining or something. A full tier management system is probably unlikely considering it would have to get incorporated for over a 100 pals and their capabilities.

I guess a counter move, could be a priority threshold slider. Like, a food slider, you set the slider to 1000 (or something) and once it's at a 1000 or more nothing prioritizes food except those with work skills only for food related tasks.

yup, and when teleporting between or restarting, oftentimes everything is reset ... ive even experienced getting wrong eggs from breeding wasting cakes, since a different pal from who i originally placed there appeared there after a restart.

That is really odd, the only time they have ever done that to me was when I missed and they auto assigned. (I mean I also dont just stay in my base, so saying that it worked 100% of the time might have been a bit hastey. I kinda set and leave.)
