A base spot with nothing around ?

Hello !
As it is impossible to get the pals to stick to a precise job, I'd like to find a good spot for a base where pals can't do everything else they have to do. (yeah "throw them on the job", go explo : when you come back they do something totally different or get stuck behind a wall outside the blue circle of the base)
I'm looking for a place that is :
No trees, no rocks, no ore, flat and that there is enough space around so they won't get stuck on terrain or fall down outside of the base range.



Anyone found somewhere like this ?

Northern -ish side of the map, there's 2 islands, huge flat spot to build on the right one that's pretty much empty, a couple of rocks but you can always build or place a torch down where the rock spawns to stop them spawning again, it's big enough that you can even place 2 bases there with a small gap between them if need be.

Biggest and flattest area I've found so far in the game, also really easy to wall off incase you do get raids.

A side note, I've been there for days now and I've never once had a raid there.

Oh I have a couple really good answers. If you go to the rightmost marshes there is a LOT of flat land right outside of the main spawn. Similarly, if you climb the mountain in the left-uppermost island, there is flat land with trees and rocks nearby that you can utilize for base building. Throwing the Pals on what job you want them to do works, but they'll often walk around or away to take a short break, they will always go back to whatever job you assigned them. Likely they're getting stuck on stuff trying to get around things to get to food or bedding.

You can create places like this by putting foundations down.

But otherwise just explore. No really, theres already tons of flat, empty places with few resources for you to build bases in. Just explore around for them.

I'm gonna check this area.
I stopped making "base buildings" because I always find a pal stuck into a wall, between ground and foundations or on top of the 2 walls high roof (even pals that doesn't fly).
I'm trying to get a honey farm working but those bees always swap priority whenever I come back home.
