Recommendation where to put bench and farm

Where should I put them? When I first start out the game or somewhere else?

For your first base just choose an open flat area that has at least a few trees and a couple rocks so pals can get basic starter materials.

Your second base you can choose more carefully but this one is probably best in the low level area so no high level enemies walk in.

The palbox is what determines your base parameters, it gives you a large blue circle showing the edge of your base.

If you really want to have a great area the fastest way to do it is to die and respawn in one of the upper right islands to build on. I forget exactly which but one of them had a very large flat area with a ton of stuff.

Does it matter if the bench is in the Palbox area or not? I already made the bench and put the Palbox some where else.

What's the point of Palboxes except fast travel and Pal's collecting things?

Also could I relocate the Palboxes to somewhere else?

the bench should be in the palbox area because you will want to use it. You can leave that one there or destroy it, you get full refund for destroying anything you built.

Palbox helps you build a base and manage your pals... It is basically the whole point of the game.

Yes you can destroy the palbox and relocate at any time.

Once you start getting stuff that takes minutes or tens of minutes to craft... your going to want that bench inside the palbox radius so your workers can craft it and not you.

They are better at basically everything than you will ever be.
