BaseCampMaxNum=128 (?)

The base camp maximum in the default settings is 128, but I definitely cannot make more than 3 bases by default.

What does this number actually represent? How do I change it so I can have, say, 6 bases?

Scared to touch this without understanding the math/whatever.

I also changed my max pal worker 20, and it didn't seem to change it to 20 in my dedicated server, even though all the other changes like EXP gain and stuff I put in definitely did change.

It most likely means maximum base camp amount is 128 for whole server. As in each player can have couple of "new bases" with the pal machine but there is a limit.

ok so is there no way to change it so that like me and two friends (the only people on my server) can make like 6?

Actually changed this to 3x and I still can't have more than 15 pal workers per base or more than 3 bases.

you can set up to 20 pals in the world settings.

as i said before, i have done this in the .ini settings on my dedicated server. it hasn't changed anything. other people on steam say its not changing anything for them, either.

Might be a bit late for a reply but change the line from BaseCampMaxNum=“numberofbaseyouwant” to BaseCampMaxNumInGuild=“numberofbaseyouwant”.
It will change the number of base you can build without any need for mods.
