Dedicated server optimal configuration
Hey, everybody. Question to those who rented the server, what are the optimal server configurations you can recommend for the server?
We are 8 people, we want to play without lags.
How much RAM should I choose? 8/12/16/20/..../32?

And what other subtleties can you advise?

Highest RAM available to download.

Download more RAM.

The game memory leaks so you would need an infinite amount of RAM for the optimal server configuration. I have a 32 GB dedicated serer and the server just eventually eats all the memory. Like the OS takes 500 MB (arch linux) and Palworld just takes like 30 GB after a couple hours of uptime.

Solution: Just restart every 6 hours or something. AFAIK, there is no way to fix memory leak yourself through configuration file.

yes, it's obvious. just wondering if it will work well if you take 12 or 16 RAM

I have a dedicated server with 16 gb RAM (DDR3) and it works fine, you just have to restart it twice a day (4 players online)

I have a dedicated server HPE Microserver 16gb, I never restarted it, been running for 5 days now lol. I turned the PALserver off once to updated but that's it and nothing was lost.

Then you have zero people playing in it, with no bases setup and pals working in them. Hell if it stayed up for 5 days without a restart, now I know you don't even login to your own server to play. This game/server has known massive memory leaks that are out of control no matter the system or OS you run it on.
