Have you people not played a recent pokemon game? You guys seen the design of crap like klefki?

Pokemon fans are hyper conservative, weirdly enough.
They don't like change or anything challenging their "perfect games" birthed by Nintendo.

Really it kinda boils down to hyper conservative toxic fandoms who will GateKeep like crazy, while telling other people that "Gatekeeping is bigotry".

Pokémon invented circles, and chest fluff, and crabs. This is known.

What it boils down to is Pokéfans are losing their ♥♥♥♥ because other games in the genre are innovating on the formula while Game Freak spins their wheels, and their entire identity is at stake. If Pokémon is on other platforms, it's no longer special, so in turn, they aren't special for liking it. If other monster collecting games are broadening the scope of the genre like Monster Sanctuary or Palworld, then it highlights just how stale the Pokémon formula really is.

I'm a huge nintendo fanboy and I love Palworld. Nintendo's had like 4 chances now with the Switch to provide a fun and innovative experience but GameFreak is a lazy ass developer.

Exactly.
For them Pokemon is the original, the one and only, it hasn't copied anything and is pure. Inspired by nothing and born out of the ideas of the maker of Pokemon itself.
Whenever something is released which has a catching-system with a ball, it is automatically brandmarked as a copy/ripoff/stolen of/from Pokemon.

This is how the world ticks; A small group of people pointing something out but actually tolerate it and live on. Another group share the same interests but make a fuss about it and lit a fire. And then there are those, who have nothing to do with it but add gas to the fire because they want to see the world burn.

Pokémon hasn't been able to deliver anything good for some time. then comes another game that isn't Pokémon that delivers something similar but far better. I'd be pissed too if I was a Pokémon fan.
