About the "forced labor" and "cruelty"
This game you can be as cruel as you wish. And I'm doing everything I can to be as magnanimous as I possibly can in this game, And you can be quite magnanimous. No worse than Pokemon really. Heck even in Pokemon you don't let your monsters out of their balls to wander around for very long if ever.

In this game they have their own beds to sleep in that YOU can build for them. Can't really do that in Pokemon. Honestly I have noticed that the pals work in my base without me asking them to. they just do it. I never commanded them to get to work. They just do. If they need a break I give them one. and I don't feel the need to stop them. They earned it after all. I pet them for their trouble too, and I try to keep them fed. So far I have succeeded.

I even built a hot spring just for them to relax in when they are tired. They deserve it for all this volunteer work they're doing. They are such useful creatures without even bothering to ask for payment. They only payment they want. all they require, is food, which I happily provide for them.

They help me without question. I free the ones the syndicates keep in cages. I don't butcher them because I don't need to. I do hunt them for their resources, but I don't do it needlessly. I do it Because I need to defend my base, and those who live inside the protection it brings.

I could free them, sure, but not a single one has decided to just walk away from my base., and if they did, I wouldn't stop them. It's almost like they just want to be there. So who am I to question their strange motives?

All in all, this game is even nicer to the Monsters than Pokemon is.

They literally can't walk away because paldium spheres are mind control tools that bind them to you forever. It is unethical either way. But at the same time it's bunch of pixels so it's ok, just don't pretent you are good guy there.

Conan exiles, rimworld, ark...no one cares. This one suddenly blows up and people lose their minds.

Yep. That is nothing like what you said.

My paldium spheres remove the mind haze they suffer in the wild that prevents them from using their skills to farm, mine, gather, cook, build, and craft. In the wild they just wander listlessly doing nothing and feeling nothing. Once they are uplifted to a higher intelligence and clarity of thought they exhibit so much joy every time they complete a task.

I am so the good guy here.

It is simple, in Conan, Rimworld, Ark and so on players knew what they bought. Palworld got bunch of girls who normaly not interested in such stuff and got baited by cute animals, now doing mental gymnastics to justify slavery.

Yeah that's another thing. they get that joyous look every time they complete a task when I'm around.

Weird how no one ever made complaints about games like Red dead redemption 2, where i captured and stole horses and forced them to take me all over the map so i could commit crimes. Then there was the animals hunted for food and to use for camp upgrades.

But it comes to complete fantasy game with monsters that don't exist and people are having issues with it. Very weird indeed.

I mean...
Don't pretend their the bad guy either?

I feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of idiots are projecting stupid moral arguments into places where they don't naturally exist.

Is it? Becoming obedient after being beaten up doesn't click with you?

I have thrown those spheres at Pals without even laying a finger on them, and caught them. If it fails to catch them I just throw another. I don't even need to damage them. And the spheres are so easy to make I can carry around hundreds of them. You need to lay off the bath salts, kid.
