VRAM Memory Leak?
Since last update, started getting memory leaks in my VRAM. Game was up to 14GB's used and framerate was about 20fps lower then normal. Restarted the game and everything was good. Played for another hr or two, and same thing was happening again.
Anyone else noticing this?

I have a 3090 btw if that helps narrow anything down.

VRAM memory leak here as well, 3060Ti. Must restart the game to flush VRAM every 2 hours or it just fills up and hard crashes.

Seems like it for me as well. Quite annoying, but used to it.

With my 16 GB of VRAM I don't notice any problem even after several hours, but on my wife's PC, her framerate slows to the single digits after a while. She thought it froze once after a fast travel, but it was actually just running at a frame every 10 seconds or so. It starts out running nicely though.

This is early access. Problems will arise, and problems will get fixed. Keep reporting bugs and enjoy the ride.

Tried avoiding the use of DLSS and DLAA?

I've seen complaints of memory leaks in UE5. If true, it might actually be out of pocket pairs hands.

Didn't happen on my RX 6650xt after about 5 hours of play a little bit ago if that helps narrow it down anymore. Possible issue with the update affecting Nvidia cards or Nvidia specific settings maybe?

I don't have DLSS or DLAA on. I really don't like the look of games when using them most the time. So I really try not to. Some games it's unavoidable, but luckly this game runs at 90 FPS with them disabled.

It's been in the game since release.

oh. I didn't notice it before this recent patch. I even played for 8hrs on the weekend lol, and didn't have any issues. Then today things starting acting delayed and even pathing gets a little funky after about 2hrs of playing. I mean should be taken a break after that time any way, but thought it was worth bringing up in case the devs read these forums.

You aren't the only one now noticing it. I had heard there was a memory leak before, but I hadn't experienced it, even when playing for 4 hours. Since the update, it's a noticeable performance hit after 30 mins to an hour depending on area.

Whether it means anything or not, I'm running a 5700XT. As I have seen other say, at least this game reloads quick. A bit annoying for sure, but it's tolerable until they get a fix out imo.

What is it with Unreal Engine 5 and early access games with memory leaks (VRAM)? Had that happen with Demonologist recently as well (game uses all of my 16GB of VRAM).

This happened to me from Day 1, the last update had nothing to do with it.

UE5 is a piece of trash, people shoudl stick to UE4, why do they even bother going UE5. It's not like they're making graphcis that need it.

Ark SA had one when it launched but they managed to plug it up.

The memory leak for Palworld has been present since day 1 though

You clearly have no idea on game development so don't bother making comments like this without understanding the benefits UE5 offers over UE4 (And no, I'm not bothering to go into detail for you, go and google)
