No really, your attack damage is based on the sum of the attack of your entire team+your weapon+your own. Level and defense on mobs matter a ton.
Ive heard rumors that your personal attack is also a multiplier, which is why it only goes up in 2s as well. Dont qoute me on that though, rumors are unreliable asf.

stamina defense shield decent weapons from recipies you find , using souls to boosts your pal stats and also using ancient tech to merge pals together in order to boost their star rank

I would put points into carry weight until you're happy with the amount of ore you can carry back to your base, then put maybe 5 points into stamina, and however many points it takes to get your health to ~1,000.

From there you can safely do whatever you want with your remaining stat points. Put them into attack, workspeed, or keep increasing your Health/Stamina/Weight.

This sounds super insane and totally nutty but have you tried gearing up better, leveling up pals via souls scattered across the world and breeding for a better version of your fighting pals? My attack is 250 and I do plenty of damage with a pistol lol carry weight is pointless but that's just for me I have my secrets to 0 weight, if you're solo making your world custom will enhance your gameplay as well I'm not waiting 5 hours for an egg to hatch sorry time is all we got left in this world and it will not be wasted with long egg hatching.

the only 2 bosses that are hard are the last 2 that have 160k hp and 200k. the other bosses you can beat with pals that are higher level. but yes also level up you equip and get better weapons. there is no reason to use a musket when there is a single shot rifle.

personally i like using the small critter's special attacks, such as the flame thrower fox, smg grass fox thing, the AR grass monkey, the blue small penguin rocket launcher is a one time use though,

Mostly breeding. You have to remember each talent increases your damage, not sure if it's exponentially added or linearly.

Imagine you hit for 100 damage.

100 +30% =130
130+ 20%= 156
156 + 20% = 187
187 + 15% = 215

The 4th talent on one hero has already 2.2X your damage. Now you need to do this per pal. So that alone will 5X your damage. Then each star levels boosts your stat. In general going to 4 stars is like 2x? And then feeding souls into pal is additive.

So now take that number, and add what ever the %is. Why the tower bosses have like 180K. Numbers get really big. Truth of the matter is you want to pick a pal that's easy and quick to breed. As you will need close to 70? Of them

Curious where you got this from? The attack stat of your pals has no effect on player damage. They may have a trait that can increase the players attack, but their own attack does not factor into the players damage at all.

Clearly your hero does not have talents, and can't breed. I would think it's obvious I am talking about the pals, even to people on forums

I wasn't asking you, I was asking the person that I quoted, the person who actually did say that. I'm curious if someone told him that, or if he didn't realize he had a team of Pals with Vanguard and assumed their attack contributed to his own.
