Can you get legendary recipes from kills?

I have caught Blazemut like 5 times and still have yet to get the legendary assault rifle recipe same issue with Paladius and Necromus. Do you have to capture or can you kill for the recipe because they are really making me run through my legendary spheres like crazy and not dropping the damn recipes.

I've only gotten blueprints from the end chests. Bosses just drop materials and ancient parts.

Whats the spawnrate on the chests? Also some bosses like Paladius and Necromus dont have chests

We're talking about dungeons, right? Open world bosses give ancient tech points and such. I'm pretty sure I've only seen blueprints from chests, whether the chests after dungeon bosses or the chests scattered in the world.

yeah, that one but i also got a legendary crossbow from a dungeon so i would guess farming dungeons would be the best way to "farm" it since i'm not sure how long it takes for world chest to respawn if they even do

ive gotten legendary blueprints for the rifles single shot, assault, pump shotgun from chests inside high level dungeons. ive yet to get armor.

It feels like dungeons give better recipes but I am not sure. For example I opened a bunch of red chests in the snow area and got only got armor recipes for the 2nd highest tier armor. I did a few dungeons and I got recipes for the best armor type.

I got a epic pump-action shotgun recipe from dungeon. I got a rare assault rifle recipe from a red chest in the world.

So far I only got 1 legendary recipe, 2 epic recipes, 14 rare recipes and a bunch of green recipes. To get a legendary recipe for a specific item is really low chance.

There is a pattern to the dungeon so you can make sure you always take the right path towards the end if you pay attention to how the dungeon looks.

legendary crossbow drops from Bushi, legendary handgun drops from Beakon, legendary AR drops from Blazamut, Legendary old bow drops from Kingpaca, legendary Rocket Launcher drops from Jetragon, legendary pump shotty is from Suzaku, legendary cloth armor is from Chillet, Legendary pal metal helm is from Frostallion, Legendary cold resist pal metal armor is from Paladius, Legendary heat resist Pal metal armor is from Necromus world bosses.

ive only gotten the legendary handgun, AR from the bosses. got my hands on a legendary metal armor from a dungeon i think. trying to get the legendary cold/heat resistant armors from paladius and necromus so far no luck. same for jetragon for rocket launcher.

The T5 Legendary BPs from bosses have a 3% drop rate.
