Incompatible game version?

Hello there,
We have a server on 4players. The server has no longer been accessible since todays update.
The message when connection is:
The match you are trying to join is running an incompatible version of the game. Please try upgrading your game version.

We just updated our games and also restarted the server.
Does anyone else have this problem and is there a solution yet?

I got the same issue but no solution been looking for one.

I would assume you need to update the server.....since the error to me at least seems like a version mismatch between client and server.

As far as I know 4players updates the servers automatically. I restarted the server several times. I don't see the game version in the dashboard. We have updated the client version.

I have this exact problem. same message ive updated all my files everything. i sitll cannot connect to our server. even now when attempting to connect to any also does not load but does not give this message. very frustrating no answers

incompatible version means either the client does not have the latest version, or the server.

If you have a hosting provider you paid for, then they will need to update the server.
If you have installed a dedicated server yourself, then you must update the server.

The update command to update the server...if you do not know what it is, then you have not installed it through steamcmd

Same. I'm the only one who can not join (by invite code). How can I update the server?
