How do we update the server ?
01. Type login anonymous，Waiting for download
02. Type app_update 2394010 validate，Waiting for download
Regarding the issue of infinite loading when connecting to official servers]
Following the recent patch, numerous logins are concurrently underway, leading to congested access.
We are sorry for the inconvenience but please wait a moment before trying to connect to the servers.
Single-player, co-op and private servers should be relatively unaffected by this.

...... it's not just opening steamcmd and doing app_update 2394010
ALSO make a backup of that folder . . . just incase this fails.
Open up SteamCMD, but then also remember what directory it resides in. do this command first... I'll do it via a windows command line for my C: drive, just remember if you're on linux do \ instead of the / for the directory. Remember to spell it right... I typo'd "palword_server" and i had 2 directories wondering how in the heck that happened.

YOU"RE AN ACTUAL GOD TY. I had two directories too and could not figure out how to switch to the one currently being use that force install command worked like a charm!
I just followed this to the letter and I am still getting "The match you are trying to join is running an incompatible version of the game. Please try upgrading your game version."
I followed the steps again and this time when I run app_update 2394010 the response in SteamCMD is "Success! app '2394010' is already up to date."
Just for testing purposes I am gonna delete that entire folder (with my SaveGames folder copied elsewhere as a backup) and see if it works with a new world generated. I am hoping this doesn't work because if it does, a world reset every update is going to be rough.
Update to this. Still doesn't work. I even went back to the SteamCMD exe, did force_install_dir to the folder, logged in anonymously, and then did app_update 2394010 validate and it successfully validated all files and I still can't log in on my own server.
like i had mentioned I typo'd the very first time i made a server and put "Palword" and not "Palworld" so when I was getting "Success! app '2394010' is already up to date." I kept pacing and getting frustrated... (it really took like 20 mins until i physically went to the folder where I realized the window I had opened didnt update with the new directory, and there were two almost identical named folder)
