My Pals are addicted to mining
Literally everyone of them who can mine will run to do it even if there is other work available. The only exception is building and farming, but as soon as they finish - they return to mine. If I place a crafting order they sometimes make a few items and run away to mine again. What do I do? Nails takes a long time to make, I want them to make it while I'm exploring but instead I got 100 more stone.

Are you sure they have the Handiwork? It's the hand icon. Sometimes you have to throw them to craft.

You can break the stone thing and build it later when needed, youll get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of it quickly anyway.

Yes they have. I did throw them to craft, they worked for a few seconds and ran away to mine again.

I built my rock quarry inside of a room with a door. Because my pals always favor the rock quarry over the ore nodes that spawn inside the base. So whenever I want ore, I close the door. Pals cannot find a way to get to the rock quarry and will mine ore nodes instead. Whenever I'm running low on stone, I open the door untill I have enough stone again.

Lucky bastard, mine only eat. I had to drop the food drop rate to 0.1 so they dont eat constantly. So annoying to watch the pals run towards place to work, change direction because they get hungry and run back to eat, then run again towards where they should work and do one or two things and go back to eat again... Like wtf, this feeding thing needs balancing hard :'D
Even 0.1 it feels like they eat constantly.

I wish they would add a priority system like rimworld where you can choose what each type of pal should prioritize.
It is annoying when someone with level 1 in a skill choose to do that skill instead of the skill they have level 3 or 4 in >_<
I think it might be best you juggle some of your Pals so that there are ones that do not mine so they don't all go to mining.

This is true, it would help a lot and make things better. Unfortunately as there most likely is no such asset to implement the system; it wont happen.

They are addicted to mining, you are addicted to this game, and the cycle continues!

ye same, but it's not a bad thing, you'll gonna need alot of stone for all the castles. Also stone -> Paldium. So im okay with this, and if i don't need mining, i pick a Pal without mining... lol

Same issue, Place a mining camp down, They ignore the ore deposits, Remove said mining camp and they'll mine ore again.

The trick is to replace said mining camp if you ever want stone when you're running low, Upon reaching the desired number, Deconstruct and they'll mine ore again, Repeat.
